Nursing Services Department
The primary objective of the Nursing Services Department is aligned with the World Health Organization's goal of ensuring that all people attain the highest possible level of health. The department therefore endeavours to promote health and prevent illness, offers curative services to the sick and provides supportive rehabilitative services to those with complications arising from ailments.
This is achieved through teamwork and collaboration with other health professionals across the hospital. Our nurses work in every clinical area — emergency, theatres, critical care, renal, oncology, mental health, maternity and paediatrics — delivering safe, compassionate and evidence-based care around the clock.
Currently, a number of nurses are undertaking academic research at different levels, strengthening the facility's teaching and research mandate.
