JOOTRH has flagged off a mobile "Clinic on Wheels" as part of an ambitious drive to expand community cancer screening across Western Kenya. The mobile clinic brings screening, education and referral services directly to villages and neighbourhoods, removing barriers of distance and cost.
The programme targets breast, cervical and prostate cancer screening, leveraging same-day biopsy services so that patients can receive results — and treatment plans — faster than ever.
